Kelwyn Manor Association is a lakeside neighborhood on the southern shore of Spy Pond in Arlington, Massachusetts. We value community connection, pond stewardship, neighborhood pride, and the traditions that bring our residents together. Our association works to preserve the charm, safety, and natural beauty of this unique New England community. We are under a mile from the library, hair dressers, coffee shops and bakeries but remain a peaceful small conclave and within easy access to the MBTA.
Social Occassions
Social occasions are an important part of life at Kelwyn Manor, helping neighbors connect, build friendships, and create lasting memories across generations. Throughout the year, the community comes together for a variety of seasonal and family-friendly events that reflect the welcoming spirit of the neighborhood.
Annual traditions include the popular Easter egg hunt, which brings families and children together in the spring, as well as outdoor movie nights in the park during the warmer months. These relaxed evenings offer a chance to unwind, enjoy a film under the stars, and socialize with fellow residents. Summer picnics are another highlight, providing an informal setting for neighbors to gather, share food, and enjoy time outdoors.
As autumn arrives, the neighborhood celebrates with Halloween trick-or-treating, creating a safe and festive environment for children and a fun opportunity for residents to participate. The year concludes with much-anticipated Santa visits, which add a touch of holiday magic and reinforce the sense of community that defines Kelwyn Manor.

Our Park
Our neighborhood park is a shared outdoor space designed to support recreation, relaxation, and community connection throughout the year. Centrally located and easily accessible, the park offers a variety of amenities that appeal to residents of all ages. Families with young children enjoy the playground area, which includes swings, slides, and a well-maintained sand pit that encourages imaginative play and outdoor activity.
For older children, teens, and adults, the park features a half-court basketball area and an open soccer field that is frequently used for informal games, practices, and seasonal activities. These open spaces also provide flexibility for community events, gatherings, and spontaneous recreation.
One of the park’s most distinctive features is its direct access to Spy Pond. Residents may launch small, non-motorized boats such as canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards directly from the park, making it a convenient starting point for time on the water. During the summer months, approved small boats may also be stored at the park, allowing for easy and frequent use.
Together, these amenities make the park a valued resource for both active recreation and quiet enjoyment, reinforcing its role as a focal point of neighborhood life.
